Hawzah News Agency- Referring to the unstable military situation in the region, Ayatollah Seyyed Yasin Mousavi, Friday Imam of Baghdad, said, "We are in a state of war and we should not talk about issues that harm the unity of Muslims."
He further pointed out that a few days ago, the conference of Islamic countries was held in Saudi capital of Riyadh under the title of "two-state solution", and noted that this conference subsequently changed its title since Islamic countries have three views on the Palestinian issue.
Ayatollah Mousavi added,” The first point of view belongs to those countries that have normalized their relations with the Zionist regime, and the second group are the countries that are on the verge of normalizing relations and officially announcing it, but are waiting for the right time.”
Pointing out that the third group of countries are not willing to normalize ties with the Zionist regime, he said,” These countries do not believe in a "two-state solution" and only accept the state of Palestine.”
Referring to Trump's claims about ending the war in Lebanon and Gaza, Friday Imam of Baghdad noted that Trump's view is that the Israeli government has the right to do whatever it wishes and that other countries should submit to Israel and even cooperate in achieving the security of the Zionist regime.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Mousavi clarified, "Two-state solution" means returning to the borders of 1967 and it means that Israel will be smaller than Palestine, which in this case - according to him - will lead to the elimination of the Zionist regime.”
“Trump’s plan is the realization of Greater Israel and the Arab countries are also trying to achieve this project.” He concluded.
